Every one has skills that are unique to them and there are millions of people in the internet looking to learn new skills, or to further develop one they already have.

The internet made it possible to everyone to share what they already know and profit out of that. The education industry is growing at an increasing rate and it is expected to do so, and I want you to position yourself as soon as possible so you can still ride the wave.

“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. -Benjamin Franklin”

1- What’s the most valuable thing you know that others might want to?

The first step into making money online is to figure out what do you know that you can share to others and provide value.

For instances you might be a really good graphic designer and you’re awesome working with Photoshop, why not create an eBook exploring the most used features in the software or a course teaching beginners how to use the program? This is just one example, I’ll list some of the most profitable niches bellow.

  • Fitness
  • Graphic and Web Design
  • Web Development
  • Coding
  • Writting
  • Copywritting
  • Email Marketing
  • Trading
  • Cryptocurrency
  • Poker

There are countless other niches that might as well be as profitable or even more profitable than the above, those are just some that I consider to be High-Demand and that are proven to sell online.

Your job is to give as much value as you possible can to your costumer and so if you’re an expert in your niche you can just teach people as much as know and provide them with the tips, tools or actionable steps that you wish you were given when you first started.

Let’s move on to the next step, how to turn your knowledge into a product that sells!

2- How to turn knowledge into a sell-able product

What you’re really trying to accomplish is to solve someone needs, no matter how unconventional it might be, we want to simplify our costumer life and give him what he really needs even if he doesn’t know what that is.

So how do we turn it into something that sell? We show our costumer in which ways our product can solve his problem or turn himself into a better person. A fat person doesn’t want to know how to bench press, he wants to know how can he lose weight so that’s what we need to pitch even if we include the bench press in our program to make him lose weight.

Let’s talk about persuasive tactics that you can use to sell your product. For learning purposes I’ll use a “Lose fat in 30 Days” program as an example

First identify what is it that the costumer really want and brainstorm it, for our cause some examples might be:

  • Feel more confident
  • Have more energy
  • Look better naked
  • Increase sexual appeal

Then identify the results that your costumer wants, for instance to lose 5lbs in a month without going to the gym. Assure your client that you can make it possible and that they will attain the state they want to by acquiring your product or service.

Create a list of benefits in a flow state style that will appeal your costumer to get your product, for example:

After completing our program you will feel more energetic to play with your kids, better looking for your wife or to get new dates if you’re single, you’ll feel more confident in your body and you’ll start to love yourself in levels you thought not to be possible, your sexual appetite will increase and rekindle to flame of your marriage, appear more masculine and healthy and take control of your life back.

Give your costumer testimonials of people that went through your program and succeeded.

Create your own story, show them how you went from 0 to Hero and what your new found skill helped you thrive in life, people buy stories!

Question and answer possible questions that your costumer might have, that will create empathy and let them know that you know their struggles and that your program is a perfect fit for their problems.

The formula to create your sale pitch is based on the AIDA.

The “A” stands for Attention, Take your costumer attention with power-words and strong affirmations or promises in the shape of a question

The “I” stands for Interest, grab your costumer interest to keep them reading through.

The “D” stands for Desire, explain the benefits of your product as emotions, get them to know what are the emotional state they can end up with if they buy your product.

The last “A” stands for Action, give them a reason to take action and buy your product now! (Only 10 left, weekend promotion).

3- Where do I sell my product?

There are plenty of places you can sell your info product. I’ll recommend Gumroad as your platform to settle and charge your product if you intend to sell an eBook.

If you’re looking to make a video course then I would go with Teachable, Udemy or SkillShare.

There are plenty other choices, this ones are simply the ones I find trustworthy and simple to use.

4- Distribution Channel

Use Social media as your distribution channel, Twitter seems to be blowing and I feel it might be the best one to start making an income. Instagram, Reddit, Facebook (Ads), Linked In are also really good viable options.
